Ramona Clair is an American interdisciplinary artist based in the Deep South. Rooted in creativity since childhood, her work has been shaped by a lifelong instinct to explore, imagine, and express across different mediums.
Born into an artistic family, creativity became a natural part of her world. Her imagination was cultivated during childhood, in a home surrounded paper, color, and inspiration. As a teenager, she began experimenting with painting and photography, and later turned to digital collage after receiving her first iMac in 1998.
Over time, her practice evolved into creating hand-cut collages using old paper- objects tangible with history, fragility, and texture. Today, she works primarily in photography, often weaving in elements of textile, fashion, and storytelling. Her experience in one medium tends to influence the other, giving her work a layered and personal feel.
